Hey Spider, If you are going to go for one of those rad grilles, you want to split the postage?? And get 2 maybe they just might give a discount??? Wink

boys - you want them in black?

Alf - is your grill the same as ours? (different engine etc)

Dragon - put my order in about 1/2 hour ago - but will contact and arrange some changes!

Spider, me thinks you could be right, leave it for now.
I'll check it out later and get my own.
Cheers

I could give you measurements?

or part no.?

part no is...

548.4.030.1a (monster 1000s)

548.4.030.3a (monster 800) - all 1000cc bikes - retro/monster.

548.4.080.1a (HM)

now the answer is that a s2r800 & M1000s both use the new part 303a.

The Cox radiator says it fits HM, SS, SC & PS. SS/SC and M all share components....you'll be OK!

Nah you'd be confusing the City guys with the real pricks at Ducati Melbourne out in Richmond.

The sales guys in City are friendly as. Particularly Ed, who's really easy to speak with.

As far as the spares part of Zagames in Richmond, Ange and his off sider have always been great for me with any queries and service. waytogo

Yup I've been to the joint in Elizabeth Street twice and was treated like a leper both times....  I'll never spend a cent in the place...

Very happy to do my business with Ange and the boys at Zagames....   I didn't buy my bike there so no comment on their sales staff, but will continue to let them look after the girl... waytogo

Had the same sought of experience as ita they did'nt have time for me until i dropped some cash then they got nicey nicey, although to give them some leeway they were falling over themselves to sell HEAPs of stuff to some dude who just bought a new monster and leathers, helmet, boots, textile jacket, gloves etc,etc...(so that might be the trick just turnup with $ 50's falling out of your pockets they might feint some interest)

I have nothing against the parts guys in Richmond so much... Dealt with them a lot (sic: Angelos as well) and fairly helpful with parts enquiries, but as soon as you mention your bike is bought elsewhere they pretty much give you the arse.

"Oh you've got a noise on your new bike do you? Where did you buy it from? Oh that must mean they don't know their shit like us, so you can tell em that the doohickey needs replacing, that'll be $X,000 thank you very much"

But back to the original discussion, it's the sales guys at Richmond I despise. But that's another story...  Tongue
