Yeah...

like what could go wrong with all that planning?...

maybe everything. Tongue

No Nate that is perfect planning. Plenty of snacks and drinks while you're waiting for the tow truck to come get you.

How did the gent on the 50 fare...or the rest of the crew?

That was one 'eclectic' conglomeration of machinery. laughingdp

That is awesome!

So after riding all the way South you had to then ride all the way back to Scotland?

24 hours down, how long going back?

we took the "quick" way back which uses motorways. it took me 17 hours. The  zzr had issues on the way home which delayed Kev further its tucked behind a petrol station till he can go back for it.

Navigation break

stickers

lost in Newcastle that citys road system sucks.

slight moment of panic till i realised that this is tar splash from roadworks.

the zed getting a drink of oil at fuel stop four in Sunny Doncaster.

Mcdonalds in Chesterfield

about 20 mile past chesterfield and a pit stop arranged by pbmagforum members
i got much needed water (mcdonalds fries are really salty) and ibuprofen

Fuel stop in Coventry (was a silent one Roll Eyes )

Fuel stop detour in Stroud where Petrol stations sell Beer!!
penultimate fuel stop was in Exeter but i didn't get a pic

last fuel stop in Cornwall storm force wins in cornwall lovely it was.

The Lands End

Lands end  the guy on the Piaggio scooter has only had his bike license 3 weeks massive respect!!!

After that last shot the battery died so no more pics

There was a cooked breakfast waiting at the campsite yay
I somehow despite being awake managed to put up my tent in high winds it only blew away once i didn't have the energy to chase it if it hadnt got stuck on some hay bales i'd have been sleeping outside
Had 3 hours sleep the got up and spent the afternoon in the campsite cafe swapping stories wi other riders until the cafe shut at 9.30pm
Bed but not much sleeping wind was really strong and noisey i dozed alot.
Up at 7.30 am Breakfast  and coffee take down tent pack up and heade home about 10.30 ish
used motorways. The Zeds electrics died in the Scottish borders  (its still there) luckily only 70 miles from home so Kev got his dad to come get him.
I got home about 4.45 am this morning (monday)
