Eager Eastern Beaver install
«
on:

I finally got around to installing the Eastern Beaver fuse block under the tank. I hooked up the battery tender lines to it, and installed a set of grip heaters and a heat troller for my jacket liner. Everything is fused and relayed with the tender unswitched and the others switched. The switches are in the front tank cover dealie.
No smoke so far!

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

I know what I say about heated grips, what to YOU say about 'em?
The install of the fuse block was easy, I moved the tank out tof the way and unhooked the battery. I connected a wire to the tail light with a cool tap that came with the block, it is so much better than the big square taps that it isn't even funny. Posilocks really rock!
The tail light is then connected to the relay that is part of the kit, and the wires from the battery connect to the fuse block. Now when the ignition is turned on power goes to 6 switched fuse terminals, and 2 terminals are left unswitched for the battery charger.
I velcroed the block to the back of the air box so that it sits under the gas tank. There is enough room under the front tank cover to allow the wires to the switches clearance. I can plug my jacket liner into the plug at the front of the seat. Everything is invisible save for the switches just in front of the fuel filler.
