The '05 620 Dark I just bought has had the fuel overflow breather tubes removed, and I'm not sure which port is which on the fuel tank.  Can anyone tell me?

Also, if anyone could explain where the overflow tube is supposed to wrap through the frame, that would be awesome.  I can't seem to find a good place where it won't touch the engine or get snagged on anything moving.

Thanks.

There are two ports which join together on my tank with a y piece, then drop straight down the back of the motor on the right side, between the swingarm and motor. There's a little bent bit of wire bolted down with a clutch cover bolt that locates the end of the tube.

It does touch the engine, but on a cool part behind the gearbox rather than near the heads where it would melt.

Are you not in the U.S.?  We have one that needs to go into the pollution cannister, and the one for fuel overflow.  I don't want to mix them up and dumb excess fuel where it doesn't belong.

US or not, what I believe Suzy is describing is the routing after doing the "emissions canister delete mod".

And given the difference in size of the tubes it is not possible to mix them up. They did that for this very reason.

The tubes are gone, and the 2 ports appear to be the same size.

Spike was referencing the drain/vent compared to the fuel supply/return.

Do you have access to an air compressor?

Blow air in one end and it should come out the other. Grin

If memory serves...the tube closest to the tank edge is the drain.
