you fit that, then put your tank bag on it.  in that case, it serves a purpose and they're quite useful.

pita on a bike you have to service tho, removing and refitting them really gives me the shits.

as just a thing to fit, I see no point.

lot's of homophobes here! Tongue  laughingdp

Even after getting roasted by ya'all I still think I'd rock that thing. The attachable tank bag is a neat option and it really does have some Mad Max appeal to it. Maybe I'll fit it to the 750 Scrambler I'm gonna build out of my spare parts. Sew in a bunch of pockets to hold throwing stars and various other weapons

What do you mean?  We are not afraid of you  Grin

In all honesty the most important aspect of ones motorcycle is that it impresses the owner.  It should make you happy when you walk up to it.  My bike has a few grand in mods and you really can't tell at first glance.  But it sure makes me smile when I walk up.

Besides what's the point of trying to impress a bunch of testosterone soaked males who are not going to be doing you any Clintonesque favors when ya pull up to the local bar/coffee shop?

Ladies might like a guy secure enough in his masculinity to wear a bra in public anyway.   Grin

I dont really like the look for day to day
but ......
I have one and use it with the tank bag when on long trips .
We have some shitty roads here with lots of lose stones that can flick up and hit the tank .
I also like being able to lean on the tank bag for a bit of back relief on long sections.
