Hey guys,
mindful that a couple of our OzMos have done trips to Bologna at various stages. (some more recently than others)

The boss and I are heading through there in a couple of weeks and will be swinging past the factory with the intention of doing a factory tour.

Anyone got any tips?

Hi. I’m Troy McClure. You may remember me from such self-help tapes as “Smoke Yourself Thin” and “Get Some Confidence, Stupid!”
NYTimes: "...highlights of his global tour include encounters with Nelson Mandela, an 800-year-old demigod and a dildo collector."

Anyone got any tips?

You probably need to book (a weekday) ... can do so online.

Visit the 'factory outlet' up the road.

Umm ... what sort of tips were you after? Where are you staying? How are you travelling?

There was some recent discussion in this thread:

Thanks Max, i will have Ducati polo shirt preferably black XXXL  waytogo

Wasn't open when i was there Christmas new year  :'(
As Betty said good idea to book, or if your travel plans aren't locked in, you can still just roll up, though avoid lunch time ,they all down tools, and don't expect any customer service Roll Eyes

The Ducati shop at the Fiumicino Airport Rome, on they way out is good to pick up some goodies ,had the best prices any where, and 20% sale
oh and don't expect any customer service there as well  Tongue

If the Boss is after anything Prada(hand bags), Napoli is the only place , from the street vendors, Wink Counterfeit though

Hey Max

Having just visited the Factory and the Museum in the last few weeks I can only suggest getting on and booking the factory tour to make sure you get a start.
I would also recommend the factory outlet which is maybe half a kilometre up the road.
