2011 Monster 796 ABS

The liquid cooled 821 is the next logical next step for the Monster, that's where my money would be for the next gen bike.  My guess is they reduce the line up to just 2 models like the hyper...a base Monster (replacing 696/796) and a Monster SP (replacing 1100evo).  Those wheels are pulled right off the base Panigale...sweet!

I see a clutch slave in the second pic, and the current 821 is a mechanical clutch, not hydraulic, so I don't think that's a current 821 cc in those spy pics.

Going back to the trellis, or something other than a Monster?

also I love how Ducati always "leaks" their pictures.
So is this going to be a 2015?

thank you ducati.. for destroying the resale value on my 1100. I better sell it before this thing becomes official release for 2014.
1. love the subrame trellis
2. hate the shotgun style muffler.. never liked them, under seat in my humble opinion just looks bad ass.. and keeps the open air look of single sided swing arm.
3. if its really a 1098, i will steal to buy one.

Love the return the a trellis sub frame, WTF happened to the front trellis?  I do not think it will hurt the resale of the 2013 Evo's one bit.  If they are going all water cooled I think an air cooled Evo will be a bit of a collectors item.

I saw some other pics online and I don't like the low oil slung cooler, gonna be a bear to keep from trashing it.  I have already heard of SF models that guys have hit the cooler........

That motor has some new parts on it.

None of the current 4V motors have attachment points for the frame up on the heads.
Other than the Panigale, but that's not a Panigale motor.

Maybe it's a mule chassis for a smaller Pani motor.

i wouldnt worry about that radiator. Its so rough, you can tell its just a temporary mock up just for testing purposes. That things hanging way low.  Once they have this thing finalized, itll definelty be "tucked" in and design nice and italian like.

Headline came from motorcyclenews.com

"Diavel engine, new chassis, 150 bhp.
The monster is scary again"
