Does anyone know how much additional HP the 1100 Evo gains from the Termi carbon kit, if any?  Besides the unbelievable sounds, what are some other pro's/cons? Having my installed this Friday....Thanks

Did you get the full kit?

My Termi slip-ons came with cans, noise abatement inserts, K&N air filter + modified air intake snorkel, and finally, a new DP ECU.

Seat of the pants dyno says that power increased everywhere, but particularly at half-throttle inputs, typical of street riding versus full-power dyno testing. Exiting a corner now it barks big and lunges forward - very different from stock.

And that terrific Termi sound...  Smiley

Hope I'm not bursting your bubble but besides adding sweet sound slipons for these bikes add virtually no power.  Maybe 1-2hp if your lucky.  The accompanying ECU does help to smooth out the powerband and improve low RPM fueling...but add power they do not.  However, FULL systems with proper ECU tuning might add 2-5hp if your lucky.

Exhausts on these bikes are NOT done for feel-good dyno numbers.

The pros: sounds great, looks good, improved fueling, turn-key installation
The cons: no power gained, stupid expensive, EVERYONE has termis

I'm no engineering guru, but from everything I've read over the years, motorcycle exhaust/retune is less about adding power and more about reappropriating it to where you would need it most. Smooths things out and gives you a more even powerband and improves mileage. But I wouldn't expect a 20% power increase. Pretty sure it's all mental, but it sounds and looks amazing. And if I could've afforded it, I would've done the whole kit too. Instead I've got the Danmoto exhaust, K+N Ait filter, and I'll get my power commander this fall to reprogram it all. Either way, I doubt you'll be disappointed in any way.
