I...like others here.... has had some connection to him. For me it was kinds words when my father suddenly passed away at age 62 back in *07.
I'll miss him even though I didn't know him.

I've been away for a couple of weeks and just found this thread this morning.
I think it was obvious to most he was a man of rare insight, common sense knowledge, compassion and real world experience. The frequent sharing of those qualities here will be hugely missed.

Just saw this today.
Not much for me to say that hasn't been said already. :'(
His way with words were unmatched. A true master.
There were many posts from him that had me shooting coffee through my nose, but this one was one of the best for me.
