Nice to see these hypercompetitive guys genuinely congratulating each other.  Gotta appreciate a rider who enjoys himself on the track, even as he's trying to beat everyone else out there.

Vale and Marc are actually good friends. Marc, while he doesn't respect reputation *on* the track, he idolizes Rossi.

Isn't this the worst season ever for Ducati?  Almost no presence at all in MotoGP or in WSBK?

That photo of Rossi/Marquez holding hands after Assen....is it just me, or does it look like MM's bike is angling towards Rossi's bike, as if he's rehearsing the inevitable attempt at a takeout move.  

Actually, I think Rossi (and Lorenzo, to a degree) is a lot like Wayne Gretzky; so smooth and skilled that he's nearly impossible to hit in the open field, even when one's trying to take him out...unless that one is Bautista and Rossi has no where to go at the start of the race...
