It is, but I can't find it so you get a pass and I'm sure Ducati didn't try and build a triumph.

Always loved the way this bike looked.  Its located in cool italian bikes for sure, not sure if its elsewhere.  Other than that always  over this one

Anything beats the actual performance of the Triumph (engine and suspension wise), so I'd say it definitely did a good job for what it wanted (the Scrambler). Ducati obliterated Triumph's other Bonneville based bikes (including the Thruxton) with the SportClassic line. Having ridden each model in both brand's lines, everything about the Duc's execution (brakes, suspension, seating position, engine liveliness, engine power, available accessories) was better than the counterparts by Triumph. That left only the aesthetics, and I'm sure that for some folks, nothing is as aesthetically pleasing as the parallel twin, or perhaps they like the particular lines of a triumph better because they haven't changed over the years. But not for me: when I'm riding on it, I am only looking at the road and the rest of senses have to enjoy what the bike has to offer. In this respect, the triumph models were all non-starters.

I must admit, even though Ducati blows the Triumphs out of the water in almost every category, there is something about the Triumphs that is special.  I am a bit biased, though.  I learned to ride on an '07 Scrambler.  It was the first thing I had ever ridden with 2 wheels and an engine, so I didn't know what I was missing.  We fabbed a custom exhaust with nothing but 2 mechanical baffles, and the sound was pretty awesome  .  The bike had enough power to get out of its own way, but it was nothing compared to the Monster

My 2nd bike is a T-100 Green/Creme. It does everything my 796 dislikes. I take mine for all the short hops and when I'm feeling mellow.
