http://www.barbarafritchieclassic.com/sponsors/ A good time and a nice warmup for the races Saturday night in Hagerstown, the  boys (and Nicole) will rocking Saturday night since Lima was rained out. If you do go to the Barbara Fritchie, think of my very good friend Bill Bowen, who was a regular and friend to many on this forum until he passed away riding to meet Nora and I to go to this race. Awesome guy, good friend, and a great member of his community. - Gene

also Noteworthy about this event is that The Barbara Fritchie is the longest running half mile race in the country as I understand.  Also, RF Kline was the major financial supporter for this event for many years.  This year, they have had to withdraw due to the economy.  A majority of the costs for putting this on and keeping this event going have been absorbed personally, by Richard Riley, owner of Fredericktown Yamaha / Triumph, Richard has been instrumental in organizing this event for several years.  Love him or hate him, I have to respect his drive in attempting to keep this event alive.  I'm guessing he's probably going to lose his shirt on this one. So, if you can, come out and support local racing, a good local business, and a time tested and true event.

I plan on being there. Looks like the weather forecast has improved, but it's going to be hot!
