Speedymoto's stuff is way overpriced anyway, IMHO. Rizoma is expensive also...but their stuff has a shwing factor SM can't touch.

talked to a guy at speedy yesterday, they were surprised to hear about difficulties with contacting them (also found out that they have 1 dude that answers the phone, email, updates social media and assists in shipping/receiving, which might explain the difficulty)
he also said that the 2013 ones were made but not released yet, so they are in the pipeline.

How were so lucky as to actually speak to someone? Sounds like the one guy doing all that stuff may be overwhelmed. I don't want to cause him any heat so maybe I should delete my complaint.....

I'm a fan of both Speedymoto and Rizoma, but the Speedymoto stuff I have bought is extremely rugged. The Speedymoto 5-spoke clutch cover I have is like military grade tough. It will protect my delicate EVR pressure plate.
I do agree, though, Rizoma es mas bonita.

No doubt that SpeedyMoto products are high quality. It is their customer service that sucks. And, having spoken once more with the "overwhelmed guy" I can say, for the benefit of the doubt, that he does not seem to know what he is talking about. Also, their online order status page has no basis in reality. I placed an order on Monday and it is yet to reflect the correct status. Last night I get a UPS notice of shipment, but it is only 2.1 pounds. The items I ordered weigh more. This morning, I recheck the order status page and my items still show as unshipped. Who knows what the shipment consists of!?! I just hope that they do not develop anything else I want, and if they do I will order from a vendor instead of them directly.

I have bought three Speedymoto items: Clutch cover- purchased on this forum; Frame sliders - Motorcycle Superstore; Clutch springs & caps, Monster Parts.
No issues for me. Perhaps what they are saying is they only want to deal with vendors?

Yes, they do, but I wonder if they actually did a test fit of them on a bike? I have a set of the new design on my 2012 1100 Evo and just ran into a problem fitting them. There is a plastic electrical fairlead (parts fische item 20, Sec. 008) which will not reinstall into the correct position on the bottom sprocket cover. I tried calling but could not get a live person so I emailed the information to them. I told them that I could do a workaround, but that might not be a good option for others. I am awaiting a reply because they also screwed up my rear axle slider order by mixing up part and fasteners sizes.
The Leggeros do look good, but quite pricey IMO. Right now they have no competition for those except for the CF ones, and I am anti-CF if it is merely for bling.
Update: They responded very quickly to my email and are expediting the correct pieces for the rear axle slider order. The belt cover concern will be looked at on Monday. I'll probably take a pic of them tomorrow and post it in a new thread. They really do look good!

Just an update since it has been almost a month since SpeedyMoto said they would get back to me regarding the center Leggero belt cover not fitting correctly on my 2012 1100 Evo. SpeedyMoto still has not responded.
I modified the wiring fairlead myself so that it protects the cabling from belt or exhaust pipe contact. I expect that other purchasers of the Leggero covers for the Evo either have modified the fairlead themselves also, or are running their bikes with the fairlead not installed or supported sufficiently.

I had a low side crash at about 25 mph (on account a some cager pulled out on front of me
) and my Speedy Moto frame sliders took nearly all of the beating; I will have the bike looking like new for less than $80.00. No damage to the clutch, tank, frame, forks, brake calipers or any expensive bits.
Speedy Moto sliders saved me $$$$$$$
I see many less expensive brands, but will they do the job?

Desert Dust,
So, I don't know why, but I seem to be getting the idea that you like SpeedyMoto to the point of being impelled to defend them with anecdotal information which has nothing to do with the facts of my particular experience with them.
I agree that they make some very nice products and also have their frame sliders as well as both axle sliders on my bike. But that has nothing to do with the fact that the Leggero set intended for the 1100 Evo has a design flaw and the fact that they have never replied as promised.
Maybe the 1100 Evo Leggero design flaw is the only one in their product line, and the rest of their accessories and parts are 100 percent as advertised, but that will not change the fact of the matter as explained.

I recently purchased some items direct from SM. My order was delayed? My credit card was charged twice, and when I received my spring set, the bolts where missing from the package. Each event I called them every morning until they fixed the problem. Maybe oldndumb you need to be less patient with them and ride there asses. They quickly and politely solved all the problems with my order.

Good info and advice.
Normally I would communicate extensively with a vendor in event of a problem. In this particular case, they did correct the problem with the axle slider parts promptly. And, when I spoke with them regarding the Leggero problem I did tell them that I could fix it myself, but that others might not be able to.
I did not ask for any remedial action regarding the Leggeros and only brought it to their attention in consideration of other buyers and thought they would want to correct the problem themselves. The promise to contact me was unsolicited, but since it was made, I expected them to follow up. In the duration, I have checked their site thinking that maybe they addressed the problem and did not need to contact me. If they have, they did not update the picture, which may well be the case. I suggest that anyone buying a set for a +2012 1100 Evo to specifically ask them about the center cover to wiring fairlead interface.
