Oh I like this, when you get the bike back together I would love to see pic of the whole thing, if it's clean enough I want to do it.

Here it is back together, the zipties on the frame arent really necessary but i tend to go ziptie crazy, also after modifying the harness i wrapped the wires in hockey tape. It looks better than electrical tape IMO and doesnt leave sticky residue or come un done over time

Yes..the wire from the lever switch is black and gray.
The two from the main harness are red/back purple/gray i think...

Which one do you connect to which...thank you for looking it up.

Some of you may remember last fall when this happened:

Resulting in this:

So over the winter I made a new undertray out of some spare diamond tread I had laying around.

Before mounting the new rectifier/voltage regulator, I went ahead and used 3 packages of CPU heat sink compound in the hopes of using the new undertray as a sort of oversized heat sink.

Bolted it up and there she sits.

In the picture above you may also notice a square relay mounted just forward of the ECU. That provides power to the heated grips I installed. To mount the switch, I took some of the leftover diamond tread and made a makeshift dash. I may fashion another one that hides the wires a little better, but this'll work for now.
