fashioned up an open airbox mod out of an aluminum tray and velcro straps. it could use some cleaning up around the edges, it holds the filter quite snug although /shitty blue collar mod
i just got removed the cover, connected 2 zipties on stock clamps, and thats it, not going anywhere man.

although your method probably works fine, I wanted to be sure air didnt get sucked in between the filter and the plastic airbox bottom.

Years ago i took my dirtbike visor off and made it a headlight fairing on my 919. Looked medieval. I'll try to find a pic.

Hey guys!! I just made a custom headlight fairing for my 2002 monster 620 Dark.
The brackets are aluminum and the fairing is made of acrylic glass spray painted.
I hope you like it!!

DIY fairing stays

30 minutes into ownership I was ready to tear the fairing off; it flopped around so badly it was like someone was beating on my helmet. If poorducrider were still around and making fairing stays, I'd have bought those. Instead I finally finished -- well, mostly finished -- these, made from ¼" OD mild steel tubing. The difference is immense. 70mph is quite comfortable. Next up is a Zero Gravity ST screen.

Thanks! EZ Pass didn't work in the one toll plaza I tried it at (which appears to be a little flaky for some others in town). Might have to tweak that a bit…

Wanted a more fancy seat, so I had to make one
Also, the conventional tail chop was never to my taste, so I wanted to be a turd and make my own. The 3$ led-strip will hopefully arrive soon. Still need to cut/phase both sides and paint it. And ofcourse mount the LED. And make the frame caps... Eh, still a lot to do
Lol i have no idea how to post pictures properly here...
*thanks oldndumb! *
