I put the MotoDynamic tail light in from monster parts.

This thing is great, looks clean, brighter than stock, all around money well spent.  What do you think?

I have the same light,  waytogo

For more visibility and a clean tail I removed the rear turn signals and added the Oberon bar end signals.  I wired them into my shaved front turn signals so I have two front blinkers, three rear.  When the blinker is on the bike looks damn good and is WAY more visible.    Here in Cali the CHP have left me completely alone about the lights ( :

 Looks good   waytogo

The one thing that bugs me about aftermarket lights are that there are many Cheap-O brands out there with their brightness or lack there of. There are many riders in my town who have installed these cheap LEDs for tail and turn signals which are so DIM and tiny that they look dangerous in traffic.

What about an update on your mirrors!  I still love 'em, but I also like the new larger, rizoma spy R mirrors.

I just hope they installed them before they had children.  Kinda like a helmet law, I hate helmet laws.  I say if you have not yet had children you should not have to wear a helmet unless you want to.  We really have to stop our politicians from making laws that get in the way of evolution.  Grin

OK, OK. I mean the size mainly, they obviously look cool. I recently reinstalled my original mirrors back on which I kinda like  Huh? they work for me. I bought rizoma 'linea" mirrors last year, they look good style wise, but the stalks are mostly too narrow for my tastes. My next and last option is to try bar ends.

I kinda like my stock mirrors.......  Granted it is only because I have the prettiest elbows and shoulders and don't look behind me, but the style is quite nice  Grin

Eh, to each his own.  The mirrors were the second thing I ripped off after I did the tail chop.

How i feel about the mirrors is similar to how sky feels about the stock reservoirs.   Wink

My first 1100S had the stock mirrors and I could see behind well enough, my second one had little bitty CRGs that were for looks only. I replaced those with CRG Arrows and found a very nice alternative. They looks great and I can see behind, with minimal vibs.

I have the same tail and I'm glad to say it just passed the CHP ball buster test.  Unsurprisingly, I got pulled over last week for my relocated license plate (it WAS hard to see).  While the motorcycle CHP cop was checking out the bike he asked "where are the rear indicators?" I explained they were integrated so he asked for me to flip then on.  I did a quick left and right flash and he simply said, "Got it" and went back to writing me my fix-it ticket.  I was a bit worried about getting nailed for a technicality on separation distance but all was good!

I figured the rear facing Oberon bar end signals were gonna save me the separation distance ticket.  Glad to hear all ya got was a fix it for the plate.  No heat for the exhaust at all?

I was certainly going to bring his attention to the Oberons if he wanted to get technical, but he didn't.  No flak for the exhaust at all...then again ear-splitting open-piped Harleys are everywhere so mine in comparison is a pussycat.

Same here in the "motor city".  We have so many Harley guys around here its not even funny.  No baffle Termis don't bother the police around here.   Grin
