It's a bit comforting to know I'm not the only one who's done this.
You might want to take a close look at the spot where the stand bolts to the motor. That spot is a weak point and is not supposed to support the stress of the stand by itself, and can crack or break.
It doesn't look like anything got damaged, fortunately enough. But even if it did, I probably wouldn't know because it would just camouflage with all the other oil leaks on my bike. And by oil leaks, I mean the patent-pending self-lubricating-chain technology that my bike developed all on its own.
