I bought a rear stand from Harbor Freight for ~ $30.  Works as advertised.

Would the front stand work on a 97 M900?  I ask as I had purchased a front stand that was supposed to work on my bike and it did not fit the triple tree.

You're talking about the FG rear stands ... also relabeled as the Ducati Performance rear stands

Depends on the pin, which can be swapped out for different sizes.   I have the same stand.  Works great.   The pin was a little small for my S2R1000 (bought it originally for a Honda 900rr), so I slipped a deep socket over the pin that fits inside the triple tree pivot tube.

But I think FG only made SSSA stands
