No gods and no masters

I've had more 5 minute commutes turn in to all day rides than ever before with the stocker or Corbin. Besides it's comfort, I also love everything else about it; the riding position it gives me as well as it's looks. It has this wide profile that compliments the muscular shape of the Monster tank. Having had the stock and a fully broken in Corbin, I can def recommend this seat with no qualms. And the under seat storage "jar" is very cool and handy.  waytogo

on my old 01 M900, it was the single best mod I evar did! Best money I had spent on that bike by far. tested it 3 weeks after I got it with a 800+ mile ride day, and my ass thanked me for it the next day with no issues whatsoever!

and that storage tube holds way more than you'de expect and was the awesomesauce!!!

Agreed on the single best mod.

I put 30,000 kms on a corbin before I finally admitted to myself that it was a POS brick. The Sargent was a huge upgrade from the corbin and made all day rides so much better.

Thinking about buying a Sargent seat for my 796. Are there other brands I should consider other than Corbin? Sargent seat looks great and has nice reviews.

Contact Troy at Sargent. They have a 30-day return policy or at least did. For a 796 it looks like this. Besides having more sophisticated foam, you can see it's flatter and broader than stock. http://gallery.leica-users.org/d/300632-1/796-Pantah-10-2011-Rt_.jpg
