What are these disks?
«
on:

Hi guys,
I have these two small disks that came with the Leo Vince slip-ons. I have no idea what they are.
can someone tell me what these disks are, what they're for and where do they go to, I mean if you want to install them, where do they go to?
Here's a picture of the disks next to the slip-on to give you an idea of the size.
Thanks in advance,
bob

I'd guess they were baffles to add a little quiet. No idea how they mount

I have the same slip ons but no disks like that, if that helps at all? Give them a call, I had a question and they were good on the phone.

IIRC they go on the intake side of the can. You can't install/remove them without removing the can. Header pipe presses against them.

Thanks ducatiz. Looks like it will make the bike a bit quieter, right? Will it hurt performance? And, do I keep the db killer when I put the disks in, or is it designed to work without the db killer? I'm going to put it in tomorrow and see if I like it.

They will reduce flow. That will reduce performance assuming your fueling has been adjusted for the cans.
I don't think it will work well in conjunction with the db killers, but I could be wrong.

Given the relative ease of removing the cans, why not just try it different ways and see how you like it?

Hi guys,
I put the disks in this afternoon, without the db killer. As ducatiz sez, it goes into the can. It changed the sound, does not make it quieter, but it makes the exhaust sound deeper, has more bass.
I like it
and gonna keep it this way. thanks guys
