Is bedding motorcycle brakes similar to bedding car brakes?

I seem to remember a web page outlining the process.  Does anyone know the site?

Thanks Nate.   waytogo

I'm assuming it's almost the same process for our bikes?

I use their recs for my bike and the brakes are great.

I have to re do the Monster...

too much street riding.

I've lost the transfer layer.

This is a must-do process for any bike owner!

I was not very happy with the front brakes on my new Multi 620.  Compared to my Monster, they sucked.  I bedded the front brakes.  Now I use only ywo fingers on the brake lever.

I then had to do my monster.

WARNING!  There is a noticable improvement in the brakes once they are bedded.  Use caution.
