You need some knobbie tires and go over the Lead King pass. Just watch out for the edge up there.

Looks like a great ride. We were in Steamboat this weekend too. Stayed a couple nights at the Strawberry Springs hot tub/pools/thingys. There was even a real hottie in a Ducati bikini.
Btw, we also spotted a pair of Ducs just outside Granby or Grand Lake. A red Monster and red Multi.
