Awesome!  I'd love an air cooled superbike.

buy the 15k one.

Well yeah I'd love to have it, just don't have 15k right now, and was wondering how hard it would be to replicate later on. It's a gorgeous bike and would give me the Superbike handling with the low end grunt of the air cooled motor, and 300 pounds WET, damn that thing would be sweet  Grin

The weight is going to be very hard to achieve without spending $15k, that's a crazy low number.

other than the fuel cell, not sure how he got that low on the weight

there are no magnesium parts on it,
those aren't Ohline R&T forks
not 100% on those calipers being the monoblocs, those may be 1098 rotors, which any of us with 5bolt 15mm offset radial calipers can use (5mm spacers on the caliper mounts)

just can't see 300 wet

look what Durbahn had to do to get down to 308 wet

Right, they aren't even the 1098 forks much less the 1098S forks, they are stock 848 pieces (in the pictures at least).  They do look like the monobloc calipers to me, or he painted the 848 calipers.

hell for that matter, my 1198 forks with ohlins springs and racetech valving are better than those, unless the internals have been worked. WHICH is a possibility, i think some series say you can only change internals.

The more I think about it the more I want to build one myself. Just need to either sell or part out my 749....

I've thought about that but the 848 as a bike looks better especially with the desmo fairing and aprilia tail Jesse used.
