I was going to go open belts (and Speedy Covers) and had already planned the grease pencil mod in the video. Then I realized that I did not like the look of the 2013 Speedy covers as much as the earlier versions. While staring at the video of the spinning belts I also realized that the engine case has (for lack of a better term) a "lip" that the covers sit on. IMO it leaves the bike looking like something is supposed to be there that is not. Besides If I can't have spinning bling on
both] sides on my bike what's the point

I'm the opposite re the original Leggeros vs the 1100 EVO style. I did not feel that way initially, but a few days of looking at the picture, I thought I would give them a try and sell them if I didn't like them. Luckily, once installed, I was happy with them.
Agree with you re the raw edges showing. On the EVO, they are about 90 % hidden because of the exhaust. You mainly see the covers, and very little of the engine case edges. I have a pic in another thread.
