Just what I needed - another great way to spend money

Initially I loved the clear cover.  Now, the more I look at it the less I want it.  It is not as mechanical looking as a dry clutch and the clear plastic looks kinda cheap when compared to a real dry clutch.  As Storm said, "spinning bling".  For $900+ there are far more cool things to do to my bike.

I am just about to finish up with changing the plastics to CF.  Four parts left!  While CF is bling it beats the heck outta plastic IMO.  Makes it that much harder to want to put a big piece of clear plastic on my bike.

Neat, but Ducabike did not add a ton of value with this part (my opinion of course).

Well, after adding my SpeedyMoto Leggero covers I remembered a video I had seen and thought I would give it a try in the quest for spinning bling. Figured my friends would call me Squiddly, so I used grease pencil first. When they saw it some of them wanted detailed instructions. The others called me Squiddly.  




PS: Agree with you re the DucaBike clear cover price, even though it includes a new side case. Comparitively, the SpeedyMoto Leggeros probably cost more considering what they actually consist of. Plus, the middle one requires rework to install correctly. :-(

I was going to go open belts (and Speedy Covers) and had already planned the grease pencil mod in the video.  Then I realized that I did not like the look of the 2013 Speedy covers as much as the earlier versions.  While staring at the video of the spinning belts I also realized that the engine case has (for lack of a better term) a "lip" that the covers sit on.  IMO it leaves the bike looking like something is supposed to be there that is not.  Besides If I can't have spinning bling on both] sides on my bike what's the point

 I really loved to look of the Speedy Moto red pressure plate and black 7 spoke cover, and I will miss them, butt the Bimota that I now have inexplicably has a wet clutch, and I will just have to live with that.
 It does sound a bit more civilized.

I'm the opposite re the original Leggeros vs the 1100 EVO style. I did not feel that way initially, but a few days of looking at the picture, I thought I would give them a try and sell them if I didn't like them. Luckily, once installed, I was happy with them.

Agree with you re the raw edges showing. On the EVO, they are about 90 % hidden because of the exhaust. You mainly see the covers, and very little of the engine case edges. I have a pic in another thread.
