Rizoma SPY -Q with LP200 adapter, installation difficulties- Monster 696 2012

So I just bough the spy q mirrors with the LP200 adapter. I am not sure how to install, seems that the diameter for the adapter is way smaller than the handlebar diameter so the adapter just slides inside the handlebar holes and not sticks.  Do I need to get the rizoma grips for this to work?  I will try to link a picture soon

The inner diameter on the steel 696 bars is larger than on aluminum bars, but the LP 200 is listed for 696 and it's described as suitable for diameters 13-20mm = ok for 696.

Have you taken a close look in/under the box stuffing to see if there's another bushing/expanding piece to fit your bars? They often supply more than one pair.

Hey, You are right  I finally got the mirrors installed :-). There was a concial expanding kind of screw on the side of the adapter sleeve which goes inside  the  handle bar and the trick was to use the allen wrench from the side of the mirror housing and the metal cork expands and fits in the bar.  Phew it was very confusing at first...Thanks!!!
