JLo is whining more that Stoner ever did. What a crybaby. Seriously...mad because MM didn't leave him room on exit...fack! JLo apparently thinks he gets paid to do trackdays!  laughingdp

"he didn't leave me space and if I didn't close the throttle we could have touched."

that might become my favorite line, ever.  if only he would just let me win!!  waaaaaaa!

this shit is made all the more absurd by, oh, everything he did on a 250.  what a tool.

and then there's:

Marquez smiled as he listened to those comments, then gave his opinion: β€œIn one overtake I felt some contact [from Lorenzo]. But it was ok. Like this is the racing, no? He overtook me on the inside. I didn't expect it. We had some contact, but you know in that moment it was so exciting.”

Once Marc passed whiney-pants-JLO I was sure he was going to catchup to china-doll-Pedrosa, especially after the side slow he was putting on.  But he didn't?  Did he let him go?  Was that Marc's way of saying "there, you feel better now?"

I think MM knew that to pass Pedro he would have had to really push to close the gap. Given the championship standings, he figured it was better to finish second than to risk a crash trying to get an unneeded first.

it was unlikely he could catch him.  he no doubt used a bunch of tire with george, and to carlos' point there are many occasions like that where you just aren't gonna catch dani.  the gap was too big by the time he got to 2nd.

plus he said his goal was to finish in front of jlo.  done.

He probably tried to narrow the gap for a few laps after passing the "new and improved" whiner (title should be taken away from Stoner). After pushing as much as possible and realizing that the gap just was not shrinking, he settled into a groove he could manage easily enough.

Wow... racing in MotoGP, who knew it could happen.

Great first couple of laps and Lorenzo really has to get that stick out of his ass at this point.  MM bumps, it's dangerous, Lorenzo bumps it's ok... but then MM doesnt bumps and it's dangerous...  getting to be a bit too much.

Dani did a great job once he got away but as always... he's going to always be the bridesmaid, never the bride at this point.  Starting to feel bad for the guy.  He's got the speed, just things seem to never work out for him at the very last second.  In some ways it's worse than Spies's luck... at least Spies never sat on the edge of winning a championship to lose it all.

Stop it, you're making me feel a tiny trace of sympathy for the little one, ummm..., nah laughingdp.
Truth is, despite his bad luck, he has been the Repsol golden child for a long time, but didnt get the results.

His racecraft while having to catch up is lacking. He's always been able to dominate if he gets the wholeshot. He simply is not capable of battling back on a consistent basis.

operative word being 'consistent'.  altho 2012 was pretty damn good.

but... he has consistently been in the top 3, which means he gets lots of airtime even when he's not winning.  and he's spanish.  until alex marquez is ready he probably has a job.

Great race.  I have never really supported Lorenzo but I was hoping he got this one but alas.  MM is spanking everyone pretty much.  I thought like Stoner MM was gonna try to get to Dani.  I guess it's only Stoner that has the win it or bin it attitude n exactly why he is missed

I actually liked that MM took a step back... it shows racecraft to me.  He's willing to let the red mist die down to make sure he wins the championship.
