First off, I think that would be a pretty awesome superhero name: The Immobilizer!!!!  Crime stops, dead. (handy catch phrase/motto)
Second, the only threads on the immobilizer when I searched were about the problems people were having with it. Not good.

Now what I'd like to know is how effective a theft deterrent it is.  The stories I've read about MC thief's is that if they can't ride away with it, they usually don't steal it.  Yes, there is the 4 guys, two bars, and a van scenario, but from what I've read that is a small percentage of MC thefts.  Most are break ignition and ride away.

Just curious.

Ducatamount

A longish read with a pantload of good information from an ex-theif. Ducati's are a goldmine and thieves will bring a spare ECU with them and ride it away. The best theft deterrent is to chain it up high, so they can't stand on the bolt cutters (against the ground) and remove your clutch lever.

Yeah, I read that a while back, and it was disheartening.  So much scum in the world.  I did decide to find a lock for the rear though.  Because of the ABS, you can't use a normal 10mm disc lock, so I went with the 5mm brake disk holes lock. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GBRAVC/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1  I will also take my 6ft. locking cable (run it through the rear wheel and the trellis frame) and 10mm disc (for the front, just cause), when I'm out for ride.  My bikes are in a garage, that has the remote on the door disabled, and are locked together with cables and disc's. And I have full coverage on the Ducati.  I was hoping the Immobilizer would make a difference, but I guess not.  So now I have 3 different locks/cables for the Ducati when I go for a ride.  Almost takes the fun out of it.  I also have a couple for the Kawi 250r (those thing get stolen a lot), and nothing for the Triumph Sprint RS. It's an awesome bike, but nobody has even heard of it.
