well I'm sure that comes at no surprise to anyone who's been here for a couple of minutes or more
it looks cool, I would be surprised if it is available here... speaking of talk bags I've got an older version of Matty's bagster one, and whilst at times it is useful, I'm not a real fan of riding with it - a bit too restrictive for my riding style.. Not sure what this one would be like to ride with, but like the locking mechanism

That looks pretty neat Melvin.
I have to agree about the Bagster, it does hold a bunch of stuff but it's not the most comfortable thing to ride with.
I could only image freeway riding with it for any great distance.
Kinda pushes into your chest after a while.

and the locking ring:

that is something to consider
the bag from germany translates to AU$80 which is pretty much the same as the US price
must drop them an email and ask about shipping...same with the yanks
thanks for the tip, nick

Not sure if you fellas were aware, but my mate bought himself a tankbag with the same mounting bracket.
The one he bought though, had power pins protruding from the bracket, so when you lock the tank bag in place, a power connection is made to any items in the bag without the extra step of plugging in other cables separately...
Not sure of the specifics at this stage, and whether this is a standard feature in these bags/brackets, but I can try to suss the brand and model from him if you guys didn't already know.
I think he got it shipped over from Europe.
Also another benefit he mentioned was these brackets also prevent the bags from making contact with your tank, so no friction marks for those who wanna keep their monsters pristine.

certain models of the above mention brand do have this feature - look for pictures with an electricity emblem. however, they do seem to be rather large in size...i do want a small size bag to eliminate a backpack...as per name "daypack" kinda bag
but thanks for bringing it to out attention, mate
cheers!

They look really good.
Plus it doesn't come in contact with the actual tank? So the paint won't be affected by rubbing?
I would consider getting rid of my Ventura rack and bags for this.
Hmmmmm....interesting.

correct - the contact point is a bracket on a fuel cap. lets do investigate and get 2 - shipping will be cheaper

Neat Rob very neat!
Personally I don't like the look of the tank bags and the compartment would anoy me being where it is. That is why I have a little bag that I can tie down on the pillion seat. Not too big but good enough for an overnighter.

i don't care much for the tank bag; rather have a backpack...but the design of this bag makes me want it...it's a bling
therefore i must have it. just so it looks cool on the bike
