I own 2, one running a 2011 796 and one I'm slowly restoring to a working condition honda cb500 four

I have a ton of 550F parts if you need anything. 2 complete racks of carbs, misc carb parts (jets, needles) exhaust headers I think, a CB350 gas tank, headlights and headlight ears, oem blinkers, tail lights, etc. And like 6 different titles if you need a title LOL

Cool!  I mostly restored a '77 CB550 that I picked up non-running and no title for $200.  Cool bike.  I sold it to a guy wanting to build a bobber.  I still have a set of rear springs.

I asked THE QUESTION to the wife again. Well, it's not a "yes". But at least it wasn't an emphatic "no" either. This thread seems to be working!  laughingdp

I was once up to 4 Ducs in the garage.

Currently at 2, 1 running, 1 not (sound familiar anyone?).

But I have found that the population of bicycles (both road and MTB) has multiplied quite rapidly in the last 5 years to 8 between Stella & myself.  Shocked

Yeah, but it's not just about economics. I think I screwed the pooch when I bought my 749 without checking with her. "But honey, you would have said no" isn't a good enough excuse?  Huh?  Wink

Sometimes it's better to ask forgiveness than permission.

That said, I always check with her out of courtesy and she's always said she would "NEVER" say no.

Sometimes I text her a pic of a bike saying that I just bought it, just to test. She's never reacted badly.

One of these days it won't be a test and we'll see for sure...  laughingdp
