I ordered a new chain and front and rear sprockets for my bike, and I could have sworn the stock rear sprocket was 46 teeth after trolling the internet most of the 4th.

I'm now doubting myself big time here.  I keep finding completely conflicting data about the stock sprockets.

(Please don't tell me to go count the teeth - I tried this morning and I could not keep track... bang head)

Is the stock 695 configuration 15T front and 42 rear or is it 15 front, 46 rear?

Thanks!

I am not sure on this but isnt 15/46 equal to 14/42?
Most people drop down to a 14t front sprocket because its cheaper than buying a rear sprocket.
15t is the stock front but would a 46t rear be the same as 14/42?
They just might have figured that you had replaced the 15t with a 14t.

No, I screwed up the order myself.

My stock chain is shot, so I decided to replace the whole she-bang.

I'm really used to the stock configuration, so the closest ca-cycleworks can do is a 15t front and a 43 rear.  Should be very little difference.

Oh, and the rear sprocket is one of those cool looking STEALTH jobbies Cool
