I wish they'd do a show with more fabrication, and less drama. For "them" I mean, someone else but the OCC guys  ;D
The first Jesse James shows on Discovery Channel, were actually more like that.

All of the Biker Build Off shows were like  that. Apparently folks wanted drama. OCC brought that to the show.

anyone watched TV lately?  All the "top" shows appear to be the degradation of humans.  [cheeky]

That's why I like the show "Wheeler Dealers" on the velocity channel. They buy a fixer upper and rebuild it, showing the viewer how he can do the job and  when not to, and there is no vitriol.

Wheeler dealers is one of my favorites.  Ed is amazing.  What bugs
Me is the salesman guy saying they made a bunch of money without
Including $10,000 of ed's time.

sounds like the opposite of "classic car rescue".  it's the drama crap.  I saw one about a mustang and sort of got into it until one of the main guys "dropped" the windscreen on the ground and smashed it and they had to go find another, dealing with the local loon, etc.  except the screen that got "dropped" had a tinted band all around it and was the wrong shape and you could see him throw it.

is there really so little market for real info shows?  it's just depressing.

That's a cool show.

The glossing over of the labor cost is a bit irritating.

And Ed drives me crazy doing all sorts of work, including power tools under the car, without glasses.
I can't fathom how he gets away with it.

ya, the cost of labor was left out, but the point was that there was was no artificial drama in the show.
