Then I’ll be president of Texaco Oil?!

The legendary Miguel Angel Galluzzi designed our beloved Monster (not the plastic one), when he worked for Ducati. Now he's made a pretty sweet looking new Vespa -- that costs $10,000! -- over at Piaggio. I had him into the studio bow down and asked him about his Five Favorite Bikes: http://www.bloomberg.com/video/meet-the-designer-of-the-new-10k-vespa-946-A~rgJUlGR3KaM~g7GGHLRw.html

Nice interview, but I'd never pop $10K for a Vespa  coffee
I had a blue 50cc (which went to 90cc and 19 Dell'Orto carburator almost immediately) one when I was 14yo, and a white 125cc PX when I was 16yo.
Then I grew up  Grin

Good choices by Mr. Galluzzi.

He is looking good.  Looks like he has lost some weight.  Living in California has been good for him.

Yeah... I met him last summer, looks like he lost weight and got a haircut.  Funny story is that I was introduced to him by my gf... she was sitting there chatting with this older lady at a party that pulls Galluzi over and says, "oh, here's my husband.  He designs Vespas, but dont get them, they hit the ground when they go over hills."  He had the expression of the long suffering husband after that comment. haha
