Monster chase rack for pick-up truck?
«

Anyone ever seen a pick-up truck bed cage that is made for hauling Monsters (or any other sportbikes)? Or a race-team support rack custom built for trackdays?
I need one. Also need a fast, safe and convenient ramp solution for loading my Monster into the back of my Raptor. Any ideas? Vendors?

Not sure of exactly what you're looking for.....
I used this rack for hauling up to two Monsters at a time, for *years*.
Bolts to the front of the bed.
I've not put 3 Monsters to it, center one backwards is what I'd do.
I'd gladly sell it for short money, as I no longer have a truck.
More info here:

Those same folks also have a combo bed-extender/ramp:

Looks pretty damn slick to me.

The company I work for has a division of the business that sells and installs Knapheide equipment. Recently we've had a lot of interest in installing stuff into the new Ram ProMasters. The first time I saw one come through (was for an electrical contractor) I fantasized about making it a track-day hauler.

As for your application with your raptor - if budget isn't too much of an issue, you could look into TommyGate lift-gates. That would change the back of your truck but could be REALLY slick for lifting bikes into the back.

this is a nice rig too
frankly though I'd just buy one of these ramps
http://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/ramps/1200-lb-capacity-convertible-aluminum-loading-ramp-60333.html
not sure if 72 inches is long enough for it not to bottom out while loading. I had this one and loaded my bikes into an F250 without problems...ramps now broke though (never let a friend borrow shit) :'(

I had the black widow and it worked great on my Yami Roadstar, Harley Electra Glide and a couple of Monsters - it can also be taken apart for easy transport

I think the raptor has a pretty high bed. It helps to back up to a slight hill so the ramp will be more in line with the bed to prevent high centering. FWIW A sport chock and tie downs works for me.

I have a Ram 2500 with a Tommy Lift for my balloons. I took a steel ramp and modified it to strap onto the lift. I can ride my bike straight onto the ramp, lift the gate straight into the truck. Works great!

I use the Versahaul 600Lb hitch carrier. It works great in my KingRanch F150.
