Justin, here's a couple pics of my '98-I just lowered my clocks & headlight. It just took 2 3" alum straps , cut 1/2" off top of U bracket, & new bolts on top triple....





Good luck w the project...looking fwd to seeing what colors you do

Thanks for that, I don't have the factory U- bolt, I have an after market headlight which would make this a quite bit easier.

If you're going that far, Nichols motor mount bolts are cheap insurance for the money spent.

With the carbs, inspect the rubber diaphragms for the slides. TDM800 works as does Suzuki DR-650. The latter was easier for me to get.

I really want the Nichols mount but I'm tired of eating ramen lol.

More Parts Stator, R/R and F/R Tires


Fresh Clear on the Carbon parts.


Also ordered the color for the frame "Roman Gold"
