Hi all!

I wanted to share a few quick pics from my Xmas break journey from Vegas to Death Valley and back (Dallas - Marfa - Tucson - Vegas - DV and return).  3,500+ miles.  Loving the heated gear.  Multi has 8,300+ miles on her since I picked her up in June.  It really is a great bike for long-term riding.  I just added a center stand and the clip on for cruise control, crash bars and lights will come later.  During yesterday's oil/fluid change the AMS team reflashed the ECU as it was suppose to make it more "rideable" on the low end.  It certainly helped but it was still a bit twitchy so they also did a quick mod to the outside air temp sensor (makes the bike think the air is colder) and that worked wonders.  Very smooth on the roll on now.  Can't wait for the next trip.

Simmer down now.  I'm still working a full trip report.  Been playing catch up on a few other things.

In the mean time I did install the center stand.

... and here's one more from the open road.

That is awesome!  Glad to see you are racking up the miles on the bike.  waytogo I know a few folks around here that used to do the same thing.

Yep… that's the first thing that occurred to me.  You got a street bike yet?   Grin

I'm glad to hear your trip was a good one (nice big pix, BTW).  That Multistrada of yours is one badass ride.  But we will need a five paragraph paper detailing your alleged adventure  Evil

Not yet but I am working on it.  Hopefully will have one within the year.  Just trying to figure out what I want.  I am thinking a Hypermotard but if I can find a nice older monster, I might go that route.

Once I have one, we will do trips to Arkansas at least once a year.  My days of doing 24,000 miles per year are over though.   Family first but Amy said I could go on trips to Arkansas.
