I have a friend that wants to build a streetfighter out of his 999. He needs a top triple clamp to mount bars instead of clip-ons. Any ideas?

I would just go with Tall Boys, or something similar.

Not sure about the 999 but when I put the 749 forks on my monster I had the top triple machined to fit those forks.

Offset of Monster triples is different from 999, AFAIK.

However, the SBK guys like to play with offset, so there may be an aftermarket lower with the same offset as an S*R Monster upper.

I'd talk to the guys at IMA, they seem to be able to do custom (or nearly) stuff at friendly prices.
