Hey Y'all

I have been in touch with Legendary Motorcycles in Naples Florida about an aluminum tank for my 2006 Monster S2R 1000.  I am sure I do not need to go into any discussion about the nylon tanks.  At any rate I have shipped my tank for laser scanning for the possible construction of aluminum tanks.  Hard to pin down a price now because of how complicated the tanks are to make because of the filler cap and fuel pump design.  Below is a link to their site.  I will post as this progresses.

Thanks for the link.  I had already seen that one but from what I read they do not have tanks for the Monster.  Also they are getting the tanks from Italy.  The company I have contact with is in the US.  Just thought I would check it out.  UPS had my tank and it is on the way to Florida.

Jim,

Please keep this updated.

There are many plastic tanked bike owners that would likely do this if these guys can do it reasonably economically.

I for one would likely want one for my MV.
