11 monster 796 fuse problem
«

I have a 11 monster 796 and my issue is my 15 amp headlight fuse keeps getting blown. I replace it and ride for about 5 to 10 minutes and the fuse blows. Has anybody has this issue before? Is there a solution to this problem?

You have a short. First place I would look is the wiring to the headlight. Look for signs of overheating. Does the fuse blow both on high and low beam? Still under warranty?

No unfortunately its not under warranty. I checked the wires going to the headlights and no signs of discoloration or burnt wires. I checked the connections on my finder eliminator cause that light goes out as well and still no sign of burnt wires. Looks like I'm gonna have to take the bike apart to fine the culprit.

Check the white quick connect connector in the rear left headlight area, it sits on a shiny steel bracket under the top triple. Some of us have had troubles with that, pull it apart and look for traces of heat on the nylon.
