"After a CT scan and X-ray, Dr Mir commented: “The results showed no ligament damage or dislocation and no need to proceed with surgery. I expect he will need 3-4 weeks to fully recover”

I imagine Jorge and Dani got all excited for 3 heartbeats until they saw 'no surgery, 3-4 weeks'.

Then they threw their smartphones out the window in frustration.

Considering his crash rate last year, I'd say the other guys have a chance.  Just a few of those crashes happening on Sunday instead of Fri/Sat can change the landscape.

True...but according to him that is by design. He hangs it out on practice days to learn, and is more conservative (relatively speaking) during the race. MM is smart...he knows he has to finish to win.

The practice crashing needs to come down as well though...eventually it will get the better of him.

Non-displaced spiral fracture?  No big deal.

The crashing will subside.  Remember Lorenzo's first two years?  And some of Pedrosa's strings of OUCHES over time?  In a coupla years, MM'll bring down the crashes, like they all do, though he'll likely have at least one really big one this year or next.

I think that Rossi would be the one to be more excited. Better chance at the podium.   popcorn

I don't know if we could pick one of the 3 top Spaniards that Rossi would prefer crash out. Vale has shown that he's fast on this year's bike. He likes the "little shit", so I presume he's not hoping for him to crash.

I'd say almost def Pedrosa simply because he doesnt have a very good track record of bouncing all that well.
