I had been interested in getting a monster for the last several years and finally got one in June...so far I am thrilled with it.

 I hope to be able to catch a ride with some of you.

HP....the ride sounds good...I may try and make that ride.  What is the normal length of that (in hours?)...~4-5hrs total?

Last summer when I did it with the PJ's gang, we left around 10 and got in around 2:30 or 3:00.  Some folks headed straight back from Taos via the canyon and Espanola.  But half of us went out through Mora, Villa Nueva, Pecos, and then kicked out on I-40 out by Moriarty.  Big rain storm got us wet on the way in.  It was a blast!   Grin Grin Grin
