Hi Guy  Grin

New to the forum. Bought my 2005 Ducati Monster S4R last year with 3k miles on it, and now I barely passed up the 6k mark. Looking to possibly get the valve adjustment as well as the belts done along with other misc. services i.e. bleading brakes, oil change etc.

I live in Stockton so hopefully something close, but wont mind the distance for good service/pricing.

Any recommendations?

Nichols in Milpitas is the cheapest and amazing service, less than $400 or $500

Desmoto in SF, not as cheap same amazing service

For dealers, the one in Modesto has a good reputation, not sure what their prices are, but if they charge dealer pricing $,$$$

Thats all you got in the bayarea, No one really goes to the other dealers unless you want to pay lots o money.

Do it quick though-it's every 6k or two years-your belts are too old!

If Modesto Ducati were still in business I would suggest there.

A & S in Roseville has a good reputation but I doubt that you'll save any money going there.

I always took my Ducatis to Jim Davis, who was at Nichols for a long time, then opened his own shop, Advanced Cycle Services. http://advcycles.com/  It's just a few miles further south of Nichols.

I heard that Michael Moore will do your service for free over in Marin.
