I thought I'd missed my chance in 2013 when the Diesel came and went.
Then someone let this one go with Tail Tidy, Carbon Radiator cover and small indicators already done.
The only thing left for me to do is change the Levers to Black ones (not sure why they went with silver)
The rest of the bike is perfect in my eyes. I mean, it's the only monster that has matching shock with brake calipers!
It only has 3000km so it's basically been ridden in and has had it's first service.
Also, the Limited Number on the bike the previous owner never got it it 'Named'
So I can still send in to Ducati (apparently) and they would send me one with my Name/Saying/etc along with the number 539.
So far I've found out that no more than 10 came to South Africa and it's probably closer to only 7 one Ducati dealer told me.
I've found one on the net in the US Numbered 530....so I'm wondering if we got 531...up or was it all random? was there +-600 made?
I'm very excited to get a Limited Edition bike as well as the last of the air cooled Monsters 1100
I bought myself a Shark Legion S700 Green Helmet....fits perfectly with the bike I think. Didn't even know they had a Diesel Helmet, but I wanted to go with the whole military vibe/look.
