not that I'm picky, but where did I end up, bed wise?
We've got you down as 1 of 4 in the Kamp Kabin along with RichD (& Duke), Ronr and myself.

For those that are towing a trailer any thoughts on the route from Austin to KR?
I'm thinking we take:
290 West out of Austin to Fredricksburg -
281 South to San Antonio -
46 West through Boerne to West on HWY 16 -
16 through Bandera and on to Medina and KR
Thoughts or other ideas let us know:

That looks like a nice route. Can't wait to try out my new sticker trailer tires!
Where is the "Three Sisters"??

Is the other map the route to the "Cathouse"?
Oh, I like the second map. Looks more scenic. Thanks for the maps Bryant.

If that's your route I'll try to hook up with you at
281 and 46
. You'll be just down the street from the "Lakehome". Like 5 miles.
FYI, that route will also take you right past
The Dodging Duck
brewhaus. It is on 46 on the right as you come into Boerne. Would be a good spot to stop for lunch.
Seems almost required given the name.
It is a little brewpub in a converted house, with the brewery setup in an outbuilding/garage. There is patio seating in the front and ample parking in the back. It has it's own paved lot.
I went out the other day to sample their latest. Yummy stuff.

thanks swanny! that should help out very nicely! also means I don't have to get quite as much stuff from my parents' restaurant to haul with me (plus, I feel bad taking too much stuff from them)
scott, probably two of those would be nice to have, but we could probably get away with one. OH, I hope we have a thermometer to keep an eye on the oil temps...

so much to do and so little time...
I think I'm done with my wheel chock setup. Now I have to pack my backpack and figure out what gear I'm bringing. Then finalize my tool set I'm bringing. Then load the truck.
