I only wish there was a non plastic option for the oem tank latch. Never liked that thing...

Heh, I actually chose that latch because it was NOS, I wanted as many new parts as possible, and I honestly felt it looked better than the metal ones at the time. I don't like how the metal ones are almost always covered in hairline scratches but I hadn't thought of something as easy as simply polishing it Roll Eyes. I do have an extra, I think I'll polish it up and compare the 2 again.

Still quite a bit of work to do as you can see, and since I've been back I'm trying to be a better husband and Dad which means less time on the moto. RH rearsets/rear brake/bleed, cut/install/align chain (fked up my screw type master link and am awaiting a new one), finish wiring everything up and do my best to clean up this hideous harness (should have gotten an M-Unit 😠) and lastly, and most importantly, the fuel plumbing and carb tuning. Hoping the recommendations Koko gave me will get me in the ballpark enough to ride and not have to obsess over it too much for now. The Speedhut dash and IMA triple along with a purty square of carbon fiber are at my machinist buddies place getting a nice bracket fabricated, should be ready next week. He's also turning down a beautiful pair of NOS billet exhaust end caps from a Termi  MH900 system to fit my Roadracing exhaust.

Not many ppl responded when I posted a photo of my custom Speedhut dash, and while it may look a bit "meh" in photos...I can assure you it is absolutely PERFECT for this bike...can't wait to see it mounted...you will agree. 😊

It make the beast with two backsing SNOWED here in Cleveland the last 2 days which is absurd even for our standards...but it actually makes me feel better about my bike still not being ready.

Oh and the tail light is a Vizi-Tec Hsi, and the master cylinders are genuine Brembo, NOT Brombo  laughingdp. The light is another thing I'm anxious about...can't wait to test it, and with the big bulky external power supply it comes with currently in an awkward state under the seat I need to figure out a better mounting solution. Anyone else have a VT and care to share how they set it up? StopInTime?

Also: honest feedback about the Pirelli sponsor decals plz. Smiley they are genuine and a nice quality vinyl for what it's worth but I can't decide if I think they're tacky for this bike or not. Radical always used them on their builds which always looked good to me and is where I got the idea. So are they good/bad/or neutral?

IMO, ditch the decal.  The decals on your old bike worked, not so much on this shiny, classy build.

Agreed! Decal looks shit/cheap on this polish build. Ditch it for sure...
