I would hope that someone out there is investing in a more efficient battery compared to ion. These batteries were designed for electronics, i.e. laptops and cell phones, not for vehicles. The battery draining is more even through electronics and it still fluctuates depending on your use. I can just imagine the battery drain if you have a electric sport bike on a track. You'll be able to do just one session before spending 5 hours recharging. I would hope that if they will invest in electric vehicles, they also invest in more advance battery tech.

Nano tubes should Increase batteries capicity more than anything has in hundreds of years. We are close but not there yet. It can also be woven into any shape. So the frame etc can be part of the battery made from nano structure fibers.
