Totally an insult to gay people drawing any comparison with that particular Hardley ilk, but that's still hilarious

I love the South Park clip.  A few years ago I was up in Big Bear when I accidentally found myself in the middle of some giant HD gathering.  The first thing that I thought was "Wow if you took away the motorcycles parked on the streets and left all the people walking around it could have easily been a gay "bear" gathering........

Used to love walking around Bartels when I had my Buell in for something and watch all the tough doctors and lawyers trying out their bad ass looks in the mirrors.  Just freaking killed me.

Oh well enough bashing and back to the topic.  HD making an electric?  Guess so....  (added that after reading second post below), I am still in disbelief.

I never expected to see a bike like this from HD, and I expected even less to actually like it. But I do! Here are some specs. The range of 50 or so miles is laughably unreasonable but I'm hoping that's something that'll be bumped up by the time it enters production.

I'm impressed by how slim they got it but that is probably why it has such a short range.  And I'm digging that sort of Confederate cycles look this EV has.  A bit iffy on the headlight though, I'd still prefer the lights to be round vs the vertical strip.  The turn signals are also a bit off to me.

Overall though, kudos to HD... great to see a very traditional brand taking the leap to capture a new audience.  Should be a kick in the butt to the industry to start pushing out more EV bikes and that's only a good thing in the end for us consumers.

I'd give it an A. Good job HD if you actually make it.

actually...it's nice to see them trying something truely different from their norm.

I'll give them one free advertising idea.

take an old picture of horses tied up to a  hitching post outside a saloon, then juxtapose that with a couple bikes plugged into ev charging posts outside a bar.

They just need to be fitted with an aftermarket shake charger.
