Ken here, I have had my new Monster 1200s for about 1.5 months now. It is probably the most fun bike I have ever owned.

I have been riding for about 4 yrs now. I have had about 4 bikes in that time:

2003 naked Suzuki SV650
2008 Suzuki SV650SF with Yoshimura exhaust, race tech springs and emulators on the front, Penske fully adjustable suspension on the rear
2012 Suzuki GSX-R750
2014 Ducati Monster 1200S

My neck couldn't handle the sportbike riding position anymore, but I wanted sporty handling, and the monster really impressed me. I test rode the BMW S1000R and the Aprilia Tuono V4R APRC, but the Duc and I just got along well.
