Anyone else from here do the COTA track day? There was a whole slew of Ducatis there, figured maybe one of ya'll was there as well. A bit expensive, but damn that was a nice track to ride on.

I don't think I'll make it this year, hopefully they'll do it again next year after I get my track bike. My buddy was out on his R...said he got passed doing 160 on the big straight by an SL!  Shocked

Great vid, thanks for posting! That big right hander looks like amazing fun. I was out there during the GP on the parade lap and just wanted to rip it through there.

They are having another COTA weekend September 6-7, I think I'm going to sign up for that one as well.
The big right hander was tough, it's a double apex and I never really did get the line down well. Next time I'll be able to use my previous info to get up to speed quicker and have more fun.
One idiot managed to wreck on the first session which is just a round robin follow the instructor at slow speed to learn the track, apart from that there were very few incidents.

Damn, I would love to be able to do a trackday there... I heard that they were incredibly expensive though

It was $485/day. Yeah I know it's not cheap and I didn't go last year because I didn't think it was worth it, but then I talked to people that went and they said it was totally worth the money so I decided to do it this year. I'm happy I did it and looking forward to going back.
