Wanting to switch blinkers to a smaller aftermarket one. Most of the ones I have looked at are so short they will be behind the flyscreen if mounted in the stock location.

I like the bar end ones but don't think I am going to spend that price. I guess I could probably fab up some extenders. But was wondering what everybody else has?

I have mine mounted lower, in a new hole on the lowest section of the head light bracket.

The bolt that the turn signals are mounted to , and includes rubber mounts for the fairing, now have ordinary nuts on them.

It's equally important to get good distance from the headlight beam, for other road users to see them clearly.

So, my solution was lower as well as wide - such as the long version of these http://www.monsterparts.com/pc/MINIVIPER/Elec-Signals/MINIVIPER.html

stopintime could you tell me how wide the lenses is at the widest point. The ones I have on my other bike fit under the seat cowl fine with the short stems.
I think I like those better and am trying to find out if I can use the short stems on the rear.

Thanks for the help< Ron

5.2 mm is .20" so I must have not asked for the right measurement. How about the tallest part of the lenses?

ooops - make that 52 - 53 mm wide  Cool

From top to bottom (or as I guess you asked, "widest") is ~27 mm

That sounds like it will work. Sounds real close to what's on my old bike now.

I think maybe I will just order the longer set first as I know that's what I will want up front and se how they fit under the seat cowl before I order the other set.

Thanks for all the help. waytogo

Got a set and just installed on the rear. Very nice getting ready to order the front set now.
