I've installed it in 2 bikes, one Multi 1200 and one HM1100 . . . difference felt at idle, more "sedate" and during accel . . .

I had one, 796 that had it . . . guy doesn't want to take it out thought

was gonna ride it to work tomorrow, but the storm front is still hanging around.  I don't mind wet riding, but flash flooding is something I'd like to avoid if possible
